The positive pulse GE-M/LWD (RS/RD) instrument will be utilized in our company (hereinafter referred to as “GE-LWD”), the GE-tensor MWD instrument has the merits consisting the advanced performance, reliable operation, double battery power technology and so on is specially suitable for the high deviated holes, the horizontal Well as Well as the high depth Well directional drilling work and in heavy mud loss cases which can provide the Well track parameter, the down-hole volume of release agent, the stratum nature gamma and the electronic resistivity data as optional probe and so on that enormously increases the Well track controlling precision and the drilling speed. It has the following some characteristic

  • Using the positive pulse mud pressure transmission system to carry on the data transmission makes the entire down-hole instrument structure compact and a small volume, which easily detects, assembles and disassembles at site, which takes a short drilling operation time.
  • The MWD system has the short survey (SHORT SURVEY) and full survey (FULL SUR-VEY). The data transmission speed is fast and the tool surface refurbishing time is short in the short survey mode
  • Variable frequency which can be optimized for deeper wells or faster transmission rates in shallow by creating powerful pulses.
  • Variable power settings which ensure that batteries are optimized for greater life span and higher with using of the “double batteries technology”
  • Less venerable for pumping LCM materials
  • Operator selectable logging sequences that can be modified to meet the client’s needs
  • Real-time Axial type of Shock and Vibration to help optimize drilling parameters
  • All Downhole data is stored in tool memory and can be downloaded and added to logging software
